I have been writing Poetry since I was about 10 years old! More specifically, I learned about and have been writing Haiku since I was 17 years old, when I moved out to San Francisco in 1967 during the Haight-Ashbury, Hippie, Love-in Days! Haiku became popularized at that time and so I added it to my Poetry, Ditties, and Limericks that I was already writing! I didn't do too much with it until I wrote my first book, HECK NO! TECH NO! A Humorous Glimpse at the Madness of Technology!, in which I devoted a chapter on, 'Haiku PC Error Messages'....they are Fun and Cheeky! (I did create a few Apple ones as well! lol)
While my intention was to write a Daily Haiku when I first started putting the Website together several months ago, the longer it took to build it, the fewer I wrote. Now that the Website is ready to be introduced to the World, I will start writing the Daily Haiku.....well, not exactly! I am changing the name...it will now be called, patafea's Habitual Haiku, thus writing it habitually (steadily, continually,) but on my own schedule.....removing all of the demanding stress! YEAH! So, it may be daily, every other day, once a week, if I want the message up longer, etc. In the meantime, I will Archive all of the ones that I have written as, patafea's Daily Haiku below, and then adding patafea's Habitual Haiku on top of them! ENJOY!
