ABOUT THIS BOOK:  A Glimpse at Me...Stumbling Through PTSD allows the reader to understand what it is like to live with PTSD from the inside out, through the poetic expression in both words and images from someone who lives with PTSD, brought on by various traumas in my lifetime. If you think you are picking up a ‘typical’ book of Poetry......I invite you to please wander in and take a closer look! You will find, surprisingly, this poetry is like, ‘little vignettes of prose’ written in ‘free verse’. Many of the poems are accompanied by illustrations (Scarlett Wilkins & Bzai), which have been superbly interpreted from my primitive ‘Conceptual Sketches’. To further bring out the imagery in some of the poems, I have artistically orchestrated them into what I call, Choreographed Poetry™ whose words dance onto the BLANK Pages of their theatrical stages!
My hope is this book will bring a level of validation to those who live with PTSD, so they know they are not alone in their journey; and, will provide a better understanding to those who are living with someone or who know people with PTSD! The World needs to be kind to one another as we are slowly navigating our way out of the 2020 Pandemic that was unexpected, unwelcomed, wrought with challenges, and has thrown so many lives into a tailspin......well into 2021 and beyond. Be Safe, Be Well, Be Kind to Others.......and Love Yourself!
In order to get this book written and put together, I have had to push, shove, cajole, and argue with myself! I have cried a torment of tears! I have had to beg the Universe for help, find and work with artists, vendors, branded product designers, website builders, book printers, graphic designers, and many more people.  My success in accomplishing my goal to publish, ‘A Glimpse at Me’, was by not allowing PTSD to DEFINE me, and even more importantly.....not allow it to DEFEAT ME!

P.S. These 3 pages came about when Amazon printed my Paperback books, adding 4 blank pages, using the last page for their Barcode and Location Imprint, leaving me with 3 Blank Pages! As you will see in all of my books, I don't like having any Blank Pages, and so I write on them, and include the words, 'Blank Page(s)' in the Title! Instead of adding more of my Poetry on those pages, I decided to Gift them to you...my fellow Poetic Sages! ENJOY!

P.S.S. In your submission email, please share with me what your favorite Poem is in, A Glimpse at Me...Stumbling Through PTSD! Thanks!
