The images and text on both sides of this BōtōBag™ (BookTote Bag) are from my book, A Glimpse at Me...Stumbling Through PTSD.  One side reflects an image of someone with Mental Illness (PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, etc.) with  words of encouragement and being kind to yourself on the outside of the image.  On the reverse side of this series will be one of my, Choreographed Poetry™* poems; there are two styles available now, 'Opening a New Door' and 'Two Different Hearts'.

I hope that this message on my products will be a reminder to, 'Always Be Kind to Yourself', especially when you face challenges that pop in and out of your day!

  • Poems have been put into forms for Centuries, going by the names, Concrete, Shape and Patterned Poems. None of those descriptions worked for my Creative Brain! After looking at variety of different words, I chose the word, Choreographed, as I felt like a Choreographer creating a dance with words on a Theatrical Stage...the Page!
